Annual General Meeting In line with LSCOBA’s tradition, the Annual General Meeting will be held during the summer holiday. This year the Annual General Meeting will be held on 31 July (Saturday) at 11:00 am.

We have published the notice of the meeting and the Annual Report on the website of LSCOBA and members should have received a printed copy by post. Besides the annual report and routines that the AGM agenda sets to discuss at the event, Mr. Pau Shiu Hung (60) kindly agreed to share about the latest developments of La Salle Foundation at the AGM on how to work together with the Old Boys Community and the LSCOBA for the School’s development. Mr. Pau will also take questions from the AGM attendees after his sharing.   If you wish to stand for election at the Annual General Meeting, please complete the nomination form in the Annual Report and return it to Mr. Roger Lee (85), the Returning Officer at [email protected].
We would also like to invite you to an online session on 24 July (Saturday) at 11:00 am (Hong Kong time), where candidates would share their aspirations for the coming session. If you wish to join and speak as a candidate, please contact OBA’s Admin Manager Ms. Janice Choi at [email protected] by 6:00pm, 23 July (Friday).  If you are interested to attend, please fill in the form below!

Interested to show off your treasures?
The school is now expanding and renovating the school’s Heritage Centre. The LSCOBA is assisting the school’s quest to enrich its heritage collection. If you have any items or photos that relate to the history of La Salle and student lives, we would love to learn about them, as well as the stories behind them.

Donation or loan of items for the heritage collection would be most welcome. If you’d like to show us anything in your treasure chest, please send us an email ([email protected])!

Fireside Chat on Community Service In order to promote the Lasallian virtue of service, we invited two distinguished Old Boy NGO Leaders, Dr. Joseph Lee (69) and Mr. Brian Cheng (03), to share their fascinating journeys of serving the community on 10 July. One highlight of the session is an in-depth discussion on our mottos, “Fides et Opera” and “克己復禮”, and the speakers shared their insight on how our Lasallian values could guide us to better contribute to society.

News from the Soccer Field We continue to have our sports events outside campus when school is still closed due to COVID-19.

On 13 June, our soccer team had two friendly matches – Open Division and Master Division (35+) – with the alumni of Jockey Club Ti-I College. Great matches, but the fun didn’t stop there! On 27 June, we kicked off a new session of the LSCOBA Off-Campus Soccer League.

Let’s keep the ball rolling!

Zoom Gathering on Overseas Study with Overseas Chapters This is a new program for students who plan to study overseas. 20 students (and some parents) joined the online gathering on 5 June.  We invited 6 Old Boys located around London to share with the students their study and living experiences in the UK. Followed by casual chat and questions, our gathering lasted for an hour and ended by midnight.

We will try to accommodate students going to other locations by connecting them to the relevant OBA chapters as well. It’s certainly a good start to connect more students to Old Boys abroad!

Special thanks to the following Old Boys for their time and effort – Dr Christopher Liu (77) President of UK Chapter, Eddie Chan (70), Francis Wan (03), Brian Chui (07), Alex Chan (13) and Allan Lee (18).
