Tips on COVID-19 Pandemic for Lasallians successfully held

On Sunday (March 27) morning, Old Boys, parents and students got together and refreshed our minds by acquiring tips on dealing with COVID-19 pandemic from Old Boys’ doctors.

Jointly presented by La Salle College Old Boys’ Association (LSCOBA) and La Salle College Parent Teacher Association (LSCPTA), the online talk walked us though advices on life in pandemic. Three Old Boys’ speakers addressed common concerns by parents and students. Dr. Philip Sham (2000), specialist in Paediatrics, went through facts and misinformation on vaccination in teenagers. Dr. Bernard Kong (1976), LSCOBA Past President and specialist in Geriatric Medicine, followed by providing us concrete suggestions in case our family members caught COVID-19. Dr. Brian Leung (2003), specialist in Psychiatry, reminded us what we might have overlooked in everyday life to keep ourselves mentally healthy during the pandemic.

Towards the end of the talk, Dr. Thomas Fung (1996) from Doctors of La Salle introduced us on a hotline service, organized by a group of enthusiastic Old Boys’ doctors, and helpers from Old Boys and parents, to provide COVID-related support.

Without support by the LSCPTA Pta Lsc, Old Boys’ speakers, Dr. Calvin Mak (2001) as the host, as well as the School, the online talk could not have been possible. The LSCOBA would once again thank them for their efforts.

We will continue to care about your well-being during this hard time. And here’s our one suggestion: check out here for full review of the talk!
