We understand that the annual general meeting (“AGM”) of the Association is one of the most important events of the Association, where members would receive reports from the Committee, meet fellow members, teachers and Brothers and elect Committee for the next term.
While it has been the usual practice of the Association to convene the AGM during the School’s summer holiday, after taking into consideration the health safety risk to our members and the School, as well as the School’s priority to schedule make-up classes and prepare for re-opening during the summer holiday, the Committee intends to hold the next AGM in September this year or a date when the situation permits, subject to the availability of the School and the then condition of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have been coordinating with the School to make necessary arrangement for the safe convention of the AGM and will continue to explore other options. We shall keep our members informed regarding the date, venue and necessary safety measures for the AGM once available and shall issue the formal notice pursuant to applicable law and our Articles of Association.
