A New Year wish to all for a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous Year of the Ox.

We have a host of upcoming events in the first months of the New Year and here’s a quick rundown:

A Young Members Dinner Talk will be held on Friday, 13th February 2009. Hon. Wong Yuk-man 黃毓民議員 and Mr. Andrew To 陶君行先生 (’83), Wong Tai Sin District Councilor, have kindly accepted our invitation as guest speakers at the Dinner. Although it’s billed as a dinner talk for our “younger” members, all Old Boys of any generation are welcome as always. Both Mr. Wong and Mr. To need no introduction and they will for a change step away from politics, and share with us their own aspirations in life, as well as their trials and tribulations in trying to make those ambitions come true. The Family Fun Day 2009 of LSC will be held on Sunday, 22nd February from 10:30am to 4:30pm at the school field. A day of fun and games for all ages and so, come to enjoy a relaxing day with your family while support our Alma Mater. On 28th February, Saturday, a visit to the Prince of Wales Hospital is organized by the Association and two Old Boys, Dr. Philip Chiu (87) and Dr. Yip Hon Chi (01), will guide us through the Minimally Invasive Surgical Skills Training Center and Endoscopy Center amongst other facilities in the hospital. The Interschool Athletics Meet, the major event in the sporting calendar of the College, will be held this year in Wan Chai Stadium on the 4th (Wednesday, Day 1), 10th (Tuesday, Day 2) and 13th (Friday, Finals). According to a long established tradition, the LSCOBA Spring Dinner will be held on the Final Day of the Interschool Athletics Meet on 13th March in Wan Chai Ho Choi Banquet and Seafood Restaurant (灣仔好彩海鮮酒家), 3/F China Resources Bldg, next to the Wan Chai Stadium. So, go support our school team and come in to join the fun and festivities of the Spring Dinner.
