As you would know, our Old Boys’ Concert would take place every September providing the perfect opportunity for all the old boys and current boys to gather together for some great music-making.
This year is, of course, an unusual year. COVID-19 has derailed almost all activities (cultural or otherwise) and continues to pose significant health risks to everyone. Any crowd restriction policy or recommendation further makes any activities involving a large group difficult, if not impossible.
Personal safety has always been and continues to be the key consideration for the Music Board, not to mention in these uncommon times. Due to the risks and uncertainties involved, the Music Board is of the view that, after in-depth discussions and assessment, we would not be organising an Old Boys’ Concert in a sizeable hall in September 2020.
Nonetheless, the Music Board continues to explore alternative ways to keep this annual musical stage alive. We will keep you posted – in the meantime, please stay safe and healthy.
