17 March | La Salle Community Service Day 2024

In the new year, OBA would wish to put in actions to embrace the Lasallian core values – Faith, Service and Community.

In March, OBA will for the first time host the La Salle Community Service Day 2024, to share a fulfilling and enjoyable day with community families. We invite you and your loved ones to our day with education, laughter and entertainment. You would have the opportunity to bring warmth and blessing to community families in the neighbourhood, to witness record-breaking moment in La Salle campus, and to enjoy music and sunset on La Salle football field to end the day.

The La Salle Community Service Day is jointly organised by La Salle College and the Kowloon City District Office, and supported by La Salle Primary School. Details as follow:

Date: 17 March 2024 (Sunday), starting at 10:00 am at different checkpoints in Kowloon City

Activities:
{Mandatory} 10am-12pm: Around 2-hour Cultural Exploration and Service Journey @ Kowloon City
{Recommended} 12pm-2pm: Lunch @ La Salle College
{Recommended} 2pm-5pm: Witness the breaking of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) World Records | Booths in carnival | Live Music Concert @ LSC Football Field

Notes to participants:

  1. Any Old Boy can form a service team with 1-3 family member(s) or friend(s). We ask for a donation of at least HK$200 from each participant, to cover the activity costs for themselves and the community families.
  2. Participants in the service team will receive certificates after the conclusion of the event.
  3. While the service is mainly morning walk from 10am to -12noon, we also welcome you to join us at LSC for lunch, ceremony, mini-carnival as well as an open-air live music concert at the football field in the afternoon. All are included with the donation at $200 per participant, if you can contribute to the morning service. 

It will be a great opportunity for you and your family (kids included!) to walk with our Lasalle spirit while serving the community, working together to attain an SDG goal.
