Message from the Editors of The Lasallian Digest

Dear fellow Lasallians,

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new project that has been in the works for quite some time now. After a hiatus of several years, we are reviving the beloved alumni publication in the form of a digest titled “The Lasallian Digest”, which will encompass a vibrant tapestry of stories, experiences and memories.

The upcoming edition of our Digest promises to bring you a collection of compelling narratives, thought-provoking interviews, and insightful articles that will leave you inspired and proud to be a part of our community.

For instance, in the upcoming edition we are privileged to interview an old boy who has lived in Mexico for more than half of the century and who will share with us his life in Latin America and his vivid memory of the Perth Street campus.  We also have an interesting story where two old boys joined hands in an award-winning architectural project which demonstrates not only brotherhood and trust, but also Lasallians’ strive for excellency.

We hope that the Digest would connect old boys from different backgrounds and generations.  Moving forward, we call for contributions from old boys to share their own Lasallian stories starting from the next issue.  Guidelines of submissions will be provided in due course.

This year, with the aim to promote a green culture, every OBA Member will receive a softcopy of the Digest by email, but some Members will also receive a hardcopy by post. Should you wish to receive a hardcopy by post, or would like to receive a softcopy by email only, please indicate your preference by completing the Google Form at https://forms.gle/T96QHgwkna938kfo7 by 31 December 2023 (Sunday).

Meanwhile, please stay tuned for the release date of the Digest!
