Dear Fellow Lasallians,
As you are well aware, La Salle College has been celebrating her 90th Birthday this year. Despite the serious pandemic interruptions, a number of celebration activities have been held throughout the year. The grand finale will take place over an exciting weekend in December.
Celebration Dinner – Saturday 10 December 2022
While there have been plans to hold the traditional large scale gala dinner at the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre to mark the close of the anniversary celebrations, the pandemic restrictions have made this impossible. In its place, the organising committee has now secured a dining room at the HKCEC for a celebration dinner of 240 persons, the upper limit permitted. The Celebration Dinner will be held on Saturday 10 December 2022.
Due to the limited capacity allowed, we ask for your understanding that attendance will be by invitation only. It is the organising committee’s intention to have a wide cross section of alumni and other stakeholders of the College to join the celebrations. With this in mind, the organising committee has compiled an invitation list which includes the Brothers, the school managers and administrators, long-serving teachers, retired teachers, Old Boy Class Representatives, representatives of Overseas Chapters and those closely associated with the College. Individual invitations will be sent out shortly.
As a token of gratitude, the LSCOBA has undertaken to sponsor the attendance of our De La Salle Brothers, Priests, long-serving teachers and retired teachers.
La Salle Family Fun Day – Sunday 11 December 2022
Another highlight event is the La Salle Family Fun Day, to be held at our school campus on Sunday 11 December 2022, from 10:30am to 4:30pm. We cordially invite all of you and your loved ones to this event.
This exciting and fun-filled event is intended to be a gathering for our big La Salle family of students, parents, alumni and friends on invitation. You will be treated to a wide variety of music and dance performances, challenging stall games as well as entertaining workshops. You can also witness the breaking of a Guinness World Record of the largest spherical puzzle.
Vaccine Pass requirements apply for participants aged 5 or above.
This year, all proceeds from the booths, after deducting costs and expenses, will be donated to four local charities, as well as to The Hong Kong Lasallian Mission Fund.
We look forward to welcoming you at the La Salle Family Fun Day.
Yours in La Salle
