The LSCOBA Soccer League is one of the most organized and established soccer leagues in Hong Kong. The Soccer League came into existence in 1984 with 4 teams competing for the title. Nineteen years later, the 2003-2004 season saw a record of 22 teams taking part. The high number of teams made the introduction of a two division system necessary in the year 2002.
There are more than 500 footballers participating in the league, Old Boys and guest players included. It is encouraging to see Old Boys of graduation years 1969 to 2002 mingling with fellow Lasallians. Some well known guests can be found in the league as well, for example, Mr. Kwok Ka Ming (current HK national team coach) and Mr. Poon Yuen Leung (Cable TV soccer commentator).
The LSCOBA soccer competitions are good events for Old Boys to share our brotherhood, good memories, meet old buddies / make new ones and even as a family gathering time.
