LSCOBA 75th Anniversary Bangkok Golf Tour 2007
The golfers celebrated the 75th anniversary of our Alma Mater on a tour to Bangkok from May 11, 2007 to May 13, 2007. My apologies to those who could not make it for the only reason that they had to stay home to celebrate Mother's Day on that weekend.

A total of 25 old boys went to Bangkok for the tour (including Francis Kwong (75) and Anthony Chang (83) from Singapore), and we had Hubert Chak (78) and Frankie Lam (78) joining us for the first time. Each participant was given 2 golf shirts, limited edition 75th anniversary cap and cap clips and money clip, personalized water bottle and bag tag as souvenirs.
The group gathered at 6:20 a.m. on Friday morning at the airport to catch the first flight to Bangkok. Leonard Chu (83) "purposely" arrived 3 minutes later to find the excuse to treat the whole group for dim-sum breakfast before departure.

On Saturday, both Warren Wong (78) and Ian Kwok (81) forgot to bring the 75th anniversary caps for the group picture and so they had no choice but to buy all the beer and drinks at our prize-giving lunch.
We played at the Muang Kaew GC, Best Ocean G&SC and Suwan G&CC and once again had very nice weather during our trip.

According to the La Salle golfers "local rules", Leonard Chu (83) has made a donation of HK$2,000 to the golfers' fund.

On behalf of all the participants, I need to thank Francis Kwong (75) and George Chan (78) for sponsoring the souvenir golf shirts, Thomas Tung (77) for making the personalized water bottles and bag tags as well as acting as the official scorer and photographer, Caesar To (83) who could not join us due to business commitment and yet made a very nice 75th anniversary money clip for the participants, and Paul Wrobel (78) for arranging the tour for all of us.

The next event will be held on December 7, 2007, the day before the 75th Jubilee Gala Dinner, and hopefully many of the oversea old boy golfers can join us on that occasion.
