Towards the end of the election during the AGM, an error was made in determining who had the lowest number of votes and resulted in some confusion with respect to who was elected and who was not. Fortunately the error was promptly spotted and the situation was clarified with the candidates involved, who graciously accepted the corrected results. On behalf of the returns committee responsible for the election at the AGM, I wish to apologize to the candidates involved in this unfortunate confusion, and thank them for their understanding and cooperation.

New Year's Eve Dinner 2008

2009 is around the corner and our New Year’s Eve Dinner is once again ready for your enjoyment. Last year’s dinner was well attended and fun filled. The dinner this year will be an even bigger success.

Bring your families – grannies, kids and loved ones! In addition to great food, the program will be fantastic with performances from old boys, non-stop dancing, and lucky draws.

Toronto Celebration of LSC's 75th Jubilee

It was a successful event. A total of 103 old boys and their family members attended the LSC 75th Jubilee Celebration Dinner at the Motimahal Banquet Indian Restaurant on Woodbine Avenue on Tuesday, 2007/11/13. The main entertainment attraction was a belly dance performance sponsored by chapter V.P. Peter Lau (69). With good food, pleasant company and warm atmosphere, everybody had an enjoyable evening.

After the birthday cake cutting ceremony, $1,526 was collected from the attending old boys as a donation to the LSC Jubilee Gift Fund.

We would like to thank all directors, helpers and everyone who supported the event! Attached are some pictures of the night.

Francis Yeung (71) Elected President

Francis Yeung (71) was elected President of HKLSCOBA-Toronto during the Bi-Annual General Meeting and La Salle Day Dinner on June 12, 2007. Together with 14 directors, a new cabinet for the term of 2007?2009 was born. Congratulations to Francis and all members of the board for being elected to serve the Toronto Chapter!

Annual Summer BBQ Picnic 2007

The Toronto Chapter is proud to present the Annual Summer BBQ Picnic on Sunday, August 26, starting from 11am. It will be held at Thompson Memorial Park in Scarborough (Brimley and Lawrence). You are invited to bring your family and friends along for some great food and outdoor fun.
