Dear LaSallian,
To mark the official opening of the Playground and Football Pitch of
the School¡¦s new premises, LSPS will host a Spring Carnival on March
27-28, 2004. On Saturday, March 27, a Soccer Invitation Tournament
will be held at the new Pitch. Details of the Tournament can be
found on www.lscoba.com.
The good news is, out of the 6 teams playing, a quota of 2 teams was
allocated to the La Salle Old Boys. We therefore would like to
announce publicly to encourage our fellow Old Boys to form your own
teams to compete in this unique Tournament, the very first at the new
Football Pitch of LSPS.
Important notes,
1. There are 6 members per team and each team may register up to 10
players. All registered players must have studied for at least one
year in LSPS or LSC.
2. All applications should be sent to LSPS Football Tournament Desk,
c/o Mr. Henry Chan, (e-mail: mantushk@aol.com) or by fax (852)
2851-9016 on or before March 16, 2004. All valid applications should
include a Name of the Team, List of Players (with year of studies in
LSPS or LSC) and a cheque of HK$5,000 made payable to La Salle
College Old Boys¡¦ Association Limited. Address: 18 La Salle Road,
Kowloon, Hong Kong / Attn: Henry Chan, LSPS Football Tournament Desk
.
3. In the event that there are 2-4 applications, we shall simply do a
draw to determine the 2 representative teams.
4. In the event that there are 5-8 applications, we shall arrange a
friendly match (knock-out) in the afternoon of the preceding
Saturday, March 20, at LSC. The 2 winning teams shall be the
representative teams. Due to limited resources, we shall not
entertain more than 8 teams.
5. Should pre-match be played, each team will have to pay an entry
fee of HK$1,000 per team, which are deductible from the HK$5,000 for
the 2 representative teams.
6. All money collected from this event will be fully donated to the
LSPS with no deductions.
We look forward to receiving your favorable response. Send in your
applications ASAP to avoid disappointment. For inquiries, please
email to Mr. Henry Chan at mantushk@aol.com.
