I am pleased to announce the details of the up-coming golf event of LSCOBA for your information.

The venue will be at Genzon Golf Club (深圳正中高爾夫球會) (formerly called CITIC Green Golf Club 中信綠色高爾夫球俱樂部 or Shenzhen Green Club 深圳綠色俱樂部 located at Lung Kong 龍崗). I am given to understand that ownership of the golf club has changed hand some time ago and both the golf course and the clubhouse have undergone complete renovation to very high standard. I have not yet been there to see it myself but have heard a lot of good comments from some old boys. Most important of all, the golf club has since been privatized and now only allows members and their guests to play there. No walk-in visitors are allowed and no golf agents can book tee-time for you at the moment. I have only managed to book this venue through the introduction of an old boy member of the golf club. Details of the next golf tournament of LSCOBA are as follows :

Date:	12 June 2009 (Friday)
Venue:	Genzon Golf Club (深圳正中高爾夫球會)
Departure Time:	approximately 6:45 a.m. with coach pick-up on both Hong Kong and Kowloon side (details to be confirmed)
Return Time:	approximately 4:30 p.m. leaving the Golf Club
Price:	HK$1,500 per person (including green fee, caddie, golf cart, locker, lunch and return transportation) (Note: HK$700 per person for member of Genzon Golf Club)
Vacancies:	40 LSCOBA members on a first-come-first-served basis
Deadline:	1 June 2008 (Monday)
Remarks:	No entry will be accepted unless accompanied with full payment. Prizes will be awarded to the winners with the best total score, highest Stableford points, Best Front-9, Best Back-9 as well as winners for the longest-drive and nearest–pin. Make sure you have a valid travelling document to go to China. All itineraries and prices are subject to change without prior notice. LSCOBA reserves the right to cancel the event at its sole discretion in which event a full refund will be made.
