Dear Fellow Lasallians,

I am proud to announce that La Salle old boys will compete in the Oxfam Trailwalker 2004 in November in 2 teams - team 434 (the Lasallian) and team 493 (LSCOBA).

Oxfam Trailwalker is one of the largest fundraising sports events in Hong Kong. Since 1986, more than 42,000 Trailwalkers have raised over HK$180 Million. The money supports Oxfam's various poverty alleviation and emergency relief projects in Africa and Asia, including Hong Kong and mainland China. It is a challenging team event in which each team of four has to complete the 100 km MacLehose Trail within 48 hours.

To support this meaningful event, your sponsorship definitely plays a key role to our success. Your donations can be made through the LSCOBA account in HSBC (Account number: 001-6-184376). Please send an email to me (yipeddie@yahoo.com) about your kind contributions. All the money collected will be sent to Oxfam. The participants will cover their own expenses.

In addition, we need one more hiker to complete the team formation. Either you are a keen runner or just a pace walker, as long as you want to compete under La Salle's flag, please drop me an email (yipeddie@yahoo.com).
