Soccer League Application

Dear team managers,
Here comes our new soccer season!
Being the most welcomed sports across all eras of La Salle, soccer always mean something more among Lasallians. The Association is happy to announce that the new season (Soccer League and Brother Aimar Challenge Shield) will tentatively start in late October 2009.
Any member of the LSCOBA is welcomed to form your own team under the Rules & Regulations stipulated. To participate, simply follow the steps below and prepare the WHOLE registration package.
(i) download the <2009/10 LSCOBA Soccer League Rules & Regulations>, read it, and sign on EVERY PAGE on behalf of your team. Make sure your team, represented by the team manager, understands it clearly, agree with every points stated; and
(ii) download the <2009/10 LSCOBA Soccer League entry form>, fill in all the team and player details (names, jersey number, jersey colour (home and away), OBA/ ID card number, players' card number and photo). Each team must have at least 11 players at the time of registration. For new teams / players, please submit two recently taken photos for each player;
(iii) download the <2009/10 LSCOBA Soccer League payment form>, fill in the payment details; and prepare a cheque of HK$18,500 made payable to "La Salle College Old Boys' Association Limited"/ HK$18,000 if settled by LSCOBA credit card.

The deadline for application is September 21, and all late or incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Please take note that after the resurfacing of the football field, the wearing of shin guards and long socks (that cover the whole length of the shin guards) is now mandatory for all players. Smoking is also strictly prohibited inside school premises, and offenders will be subject to suspension and / or disqualification from the league. For details please refer to the Rules and Regulations.
To attract students and younger old boys to form teams, any new teams formed with 80% or more current students (LSCOBA registered members, either secondary or tertiary education) will enjoy a 40% discount on the entry fee for the first year, and a 20% discount for the second year. Such team(s) must hand in photocopies of the student cards when they submit the application package. The teams that are to enjoy the above offer must be an all-old-boys team, i.e. all LSCOBA registered players, with no outsider guests. The Soccer Sub-committee reserves the right to assess and approve such applications.
