1st February 2010
Dear Old Boys,
Regulations for the use of school track and field on the Family Fun Day
First of all, a warm welcome to you to our Family Fun Day to be held on 7th February 2010. The Family Fun Day this year holds a lot of meaning for us, one of which is the Opening Ceremony of the resurfaced school track and field. To avoid damaging our resurfaced school track and field, I urge all visitors to adhere to the following regulations governing the use of school track and field.
1. Only flat shoes are allowed on the track and field. Spike shoes, leather shoes, football boots with metal-studs and high heel shoes are prohibited.
2. No drinking (except water) and eating is allowed on the school track and field. All water bottles must be disposed of properly.
3. Gum chewing is strictly prohibited as any gum discarded on the track and field artificial turf would entail great difficulties in cleaning.
4. Smoking is prohibited.
5. Do not move the booths, tables and chairs away from the protective rug. Any post, pole, and stand will cause serious damage to the surface if they are placed directly on top of it.
6. Do not take any chairs, tables, booths of your own and place them on the track and field. (Any 4-leg piece furniture, structure, or equipment will cause irrevocable and permanent damages to the track and field.)
7. Students must not leave their valuables unattended. The school will not be responsible for any loss of personal property.
8. Any injuries must be reported immediately to the First Aid Counter on LG2.
9. Users should clean their shoe-soles by rubbing them on the mats placed at the entrances to the sports grounds.
I thank you for your understanding and I look forward to seeing you on 7th February 2010.
Sincerely,
Wong Yen Kit
Principal
