Dear Fellow Lasallians,

In the past months we have received a lot of inquiries on the Jubilee Dinner 2007, the Grand Finale of our celebration of the 75th anniversary of our Alma Mater. I know many of you are anxious to know more about the dinner, its theme, programmes, cover charge and especially the booking mechanism. Though most details are not confirmed, it will be good for us to do a preview here for your interests and planning.

The dinner will be held at the Grand Hall of Hong Kong Exhibition & Convention Centre on Saturday, December 8, 2007. It is going to be a joint dinner celebrating the 75th anniversary of La Salle College and the 50th anniversary of La Salle Primary School. It will be a western dinner and we expect an attendance of over 2,000 guests.

The theme is not yet fixed but we shall surely go along the direction of a homely gathering, where all from various parts of the La Salle community in Hong Kong, old or young, come together for a relaxing, enjoyable and memorable reunion. As usual, the night will be filled with performances, games and lucky draw but rest assured that we will reserve a lot of free-time for you to mingle, chat and take photos with boys of different years. All programmes will be done by our own La Salle boys and staff.

At the maximum, the Grand Hall of HKCEC can accommodate 195 tables of 12. For a celebration of two schools, coupled with an expected high turn-up rate of our overseas old boys due to Global Reunion 2007 held in Hong Kong, over-booking is anticipated. We shall monitor closely the booking situation and if demand much exceeds our capacity, we may have to say no to late bookers or to put them to the extra tables in the Reception Area right outside the Hall.

While the mechanism and starting date of reservation are not confirmed, it is quite possible that a detailed announcement on such be made latest by end of July 2007. Once the booking details are available, please send in your Booking Form with payment. The cover price is not fixed but it will probably be higher than the LSCOBA Christmas Ball 2006.
