LSC Diary Archives
It is said that newspapers are the first drafts of history. Lasallians who attended LSC during 2000 to 2004 will no doubt remember the online LSC diary: "LSCdiary.org", diligently and faithfully compiled by Mr Yik Kwan (62), old boy and former Vice Principal of the school.
With Mr Yik's retirement from LSC in 2004, the undertaking of the LSCdiary.org sadly terminated as well. However, seeing the immense value these "first drafts of history" was as a record of school life of La Salle, the LSCOBA approached Mr Yik to ask whether he would be so kind to donate the material compiled over those 5 years to LSCOBA. Most generously, Mr Yik agreed.
You are about to flip through the pages of the LSCdiary.org. Like students who graduate from LSC and become old boys, the LSCdiary.org has moved on from LSC into LSCOBA, and finds itself in a new home within LSCOBA.com.
Please enjoy reading through and reliving LSC's daily happenings, its students, its staff and the Brothers, its events and achievements, LSC's very life for those 5 years, including the 70th anniversary of the school in 2002.
Our gratitude to Mr Yik for his donation of the material, and thanks for being a historian for the years 2000 to 2004 of LSC.
